Howdy, I'm Tom, I was born and grew up in Hong Kong. I am a software developer by trade but currently out of a full time job working on my own projects. In this hiatus, with some of my friends in need of help with their pets, I have been happily accepting calls to care for them, and here I am to possibly care for yours too :)

Animals fascinate me, and I am eager to get to know and understand yours! Not a dog goes by that I wont try to befriend.

I realise the importance of providing pets with all that they need to thrive and am confident that my experience, skills and easy going nature make me a strong choice to do that, whatever it might entail.

I have a good amount of experience in that I have grown up with many family pets (dogs/birds/reptiles) but also in the past 4/5 months I have been helping care for a number of friends' furries and pet sitting for them while they were away (about 2 months worth). I have been exposed to many types of pet personalities and feel as though I can handle whatever comes my way, however problematic it may seem.

I have multiple veternarian friends, some of whom are the pet parents I just mentioned, and so have convenient access to the vast knowledge and resources they have to offer, aswell as the help to learn any necessary skills such as injecting medications. I am comfortable administering medication, feeding, walking, running, jumping, playing, and providing companionship to pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments.

I understand the importance of building trust and rapport with both pets and their owners. Thus I can commit to providing updates and photos to you while you are away if that is something you would like. I have my own way of doing things but am also ofcourse open to accommodate any specific instructions, schedules, or preferences you or your pet may have. Additionally I am always available to answer any questions or concerns in a very timely manner, consulting my vet friends for advice if need be.

If on the off chance of any emergency, I am calm in stressful situations and can act in a level headed manner. In addition, I am reliable, attentive, gentle. and am comfortable working independently. I am also able to provide references for any unofficial pet care work I have done, upon request.
