Loki

My partner and I adopted Loki in 2021 from Kelly Animal Shelter in Hong Kong. He was 3 months old when we got him and he is now a happy, energetic, and loving 3 years old baby! He is a black medium-large sized dog with small round eyes, pointy ears and goofy personality.

Loki is friendly with people of all ages, loves to play and is very expressive when communicating with humans. He is always happy to approach strangers during our walks and especially when guests come over our home.

Given that he was adopted during the pandemic, socialising with other dogs was limited so he doesn't know how to play with dogs properly.

He is also friendly with dogs, but he gets too excited. He usually wouldn't be able to contain his excitement when he meeting a dog that it may seem like he is fighting them when he isn't. He likes giving playful bites, jumping and chasing other dogs, so I would suggest that medium to large dogs would be easier for him to play with. For the past 3 months, Loki has been undergoing professional dog training to learn how to socialise better with other dogs and behave better, without the playful aggression.

Loki to me is my whole world, and is one of the reasons why I quit my corporate job to pursue animal care and nutrition as my new career path. ❤️
